  • Ms. Miloni Thakkar, Ms. Samira Kargutkar, and Ms. Shaleen Multani, Ph. D. Student Biological Sciences, attended the “The Sajjan Gupta Konark Memorial 6th Research Meet” organized by the “Konark Group” at Wilson College on 15th January 2015.
    Ms. Miloni Thakkar presented a poster entitled “Formulation and in-vivo anti- malarial activity of drug co-loaded niosomes” at the meet and was given an overall “Award for Excellence in research and development”.
    Ms. Samira Kargutkar presented a poster entitled “In vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory activity of different parts of Ananas comosus” at the meet and was given the “Consolation prize for research in Phytochemistry”.
    Ms. Shaleen Multani presented a poster entitled “Single nucleotide polymorphisms in RASGRP3, GRIK2, PREX2 and TGFBR2 as predictive biomarkers in oral cancer” at the meet and was given an award for “Excellence in bio-research”.

  • Ms. Wendy D’Souza, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student, attended the conference entitled “Joint ISMPO ISO Conference 2015- Indian Data & Practical Recommendations (Biennial national conference of indian society of medical and paediatric oncology and indian society of oncology)” organized by Indian Society of Oncology at Mumbai on November 6th – 8th 2015. She presented a paper entitled “Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in ANKRD17, SAMD4A, POLE, CTSB and UBE2E2 in Oral Cancer” and was awarded the ISO Young Scientist Award - Best oral presentation.
