Ltd. At Mumbai on 19th -20th November 2015.
Ms. Shaleen Multani, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student, attended
the conference entitled "Global Cancer Summit”, at Indian Institute
of Science (IISc), Bengaluru on 18th – 20th November 2015. She presented a
paper entitled "Single nucleotide polymorphism as predictive
biomarker in oral cancer”.
Ms. Wendy D’Souza, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student, attended the
conference entitled "Joint ISMPO ISO Conference 2015- Indian Data
& Practical Recommendations (Biennial national conference of indian
society of medical and paediatric oncology and indian society of
oncology)” organized by Indian Society of Oncology at Mumbai on November
6th – 8th 2015. She presented a paper entitled "Single Nucleotide
Polymorphisms in ANKRD17, SAMD4A, POLE, CTSB and UBE2E2 in Oral Cancer”
and was awarded the ISO Young Scientist Award - Best oral presentation.
Ms. Subuhi Yete, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student, participated in
the "Joint ISMPO ISO Conference”, Indian Society of Oncology, 6th –
8th November 2015.

Ms. Delina Joseph, Ph.D. Chemical Sciences student, attended the
conference entitled "Recent Advances in Spectroscopy and Analytical
Techniques”, at Mumbai, organized by NMIMS Sunandan Divatia School of
Science, from 15th - 17th October 2015. She gave an oral presentation
entitled "Surfactant mediated interactions of bare Magnetic
Nanoparticles with Serum Protein: Spectroscopic and thermodynamic
insights”.

10th September 2015.
Ms. Delina Joseph, Ph.D. Chemical Sciences student, attended the
conference entitled "Nanospectroscopy for Two dimensial materials”,
at TU Chemnitz, Germany, organized by Rosche Ltd., from 8th - 10th
September 2015. She presented a poster entitled "Probing Magnetic
Nanoparticles Core/Shell Interactions: Spectroscopic Insights”.

Mr. Sagar Chhhabria, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student, attended
the conference entitled "Society of Biological Chemists (India)
Mumbai Chapter Meeting”, organized by National Institute for Research in
Reproductive Health at National Institute for Research in Reproductive
Health, Mumbai on 22nd August 2015. He presented a poster entitled
"Inhibition of pancreatic cancer cell line (MIA PaCa-2) by a novel
approach: In situ Allicin generation using targeted Allinase delivery”,
and won the ‘Best Poster Award’.
Mr. Vaibhav Jadhav, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student, attended the
conference entitled "Society of Biological Chemists (India) Mumbai
Chapter Meeting”, organized by National Institute for Research in
Reproductive Health at National Institute for Research in Reproductive
Health, Mumbai on 22nd August 2015. He presented a poster entitled
"Arsenic trioxide nanoparticle induces p53 dependent apoptosis in
PC-3 cells via epigenetic remodelling and p21Waf1/Cip1 expression”.

"14th International Symposium on Advances in Technology and Business
Potential on New Drug Delivery Systems” organized by the ‘Controlled
Release Society - Indian Chapter’ at the ‘Institute of Chemical
Technology, Mumbai’ on 23rd – 24th February 2015. She presented a poster
entitled "Niosomes as multi-drug delivery systems for anti-malarial
drugs” at the conference.
Mr. Vaibhav Jadhav and Ms. Maneka Hoonjan, PhD students, Biological
Sciences, attended the "International Symposium on Nanotechnology and
Cancer Theronostics (ISNACT - 2015)” organized by the ‘Department of
Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science, IIT Bombay’ at ‘IIT
Bombay, Mumbai’, on 19th – 21st February 2015. Mr. Vaibhav presented a
poster entitled "Arsenic trioxide nanoparticle induces caspase
dependent apoptosis in LNCaP and PC-3 cells via epigenetic remodelling and
CDKI expression” and won the ‘Best Poster’ award for the same.

(IACR)” organized by the ‘Indian Association of Cancer Research (IACR)’ at
‘Jaipur’ on 19th – 21st February 2015. She presented her work entitled
"Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms as biomarkers in Oral Cancer” at the
conference.

(NCAICS -2015)” organized by ‘Mumbai University’ at ‘Mumbai University,
Kalina, Mumbai’ on 12th – 13th February 2015. She gave an oral presentation
entitled "Insights into the interactions of Magnetic Nanoparticles
with Serum Proteins” at the conference.
Ms. Mugdha Kunte and Mr. Sagar Chhabria, PhD students, Biological
Sciences, attended the "International Conference on Molecular
Pathways to Therapeuics: Paradigms and Challenges in Oncology” organized
by the ‘Carcinogenesis Foundation (USA) and Advanced Centre for Training,
Research, and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Navi Mumbai, India,’ at ACTREC
on 11th – 13th February 2015. They presented posters entitled "Study
of Inhibitory effect of C-Phycocyanin complex on human matrix
metalloproteinases” and "Inhibition of pancreatic cancer cell line
(MIA PaCa-2) by a novel approach: In-situ allicin generation using
targeted allinase delivery”, respectively.

She presented a poster entitled "Probing the effect of cholesterol on
the self-assembly of some non-ionic surfactants by small-angle neutron
scattering” at the conference.
