• Mr. Farhan Shaikh, B.Sc. Applied Statistics & Analytics student, attended the "Mumbai MUN Conference” organized by "Mukesh Patel School of Engineering and Technology Management, NMIMS” on 19th – 21st February 2016. He was awarded the "Certificate of Excellence” for his participation and secured the position of "Special Mention” for his active participation and innovative suggestions and ideas.
• Ms. Yashika Mirchandani, Ph.D. student, Biological Sciences, attended the "Advances in Technology and Business potential of New Drug Delivery Systems” organized by the "Controlled Release Society- Indian Chapter” at ICT, Matunga, Mumbai on 19th – 20th February 2016.

• Ms.Priyanka Mokashi, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student received the "Women Graduate Union Centenary scholarship” of Rs. 50000/- from the "Women Graduates Union” for her Ph.D. work. She was awarded the scholarship at a function organized at the Women Graduates Union Building, Colaba on 29th January 2016
• Ms. Swati Sahoo, Ph.D. Biological Sciences student received the "Dinoo Dubash Centenary scholarship” of Rs. 25000/- from the "Women Graduates Union” for her Ph.D. work. She was awarded the scholarship at a function organized at the Women Graduates Union Building, Colaba on 29th January 2016.
• Ms. Miloni Thakkar, Ms. Samira Kargutkar, and Ms. Shaleen Multani, Ph. D. Student Biological Sciences, attended the "The Sajjan Gupta Konark Memorial 6th Research Meet” organized by the "Konark Group” at Wilson College on 15th January 2015.
  Ms. Miloni Thakkar presented a poster entitled "Formulation and in-vivo anti- malarial activity of drug co-loaded niosomes” at the meet and was given an overall "Award for Excellence in research and development”.
  Ms. Samira Kargutkar presented a poster entitled "In vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory activity of different parts of Ananas comosus” at the meet and was given the "Consolation prize for research in Phytochemistry”.
  Ms. Shaleen Multani presented a poster entitled "Single nucleotide polymorphisms in RASGRP3, GRIK2, PREX2 and TGFBR2 as predictive biomarkers in oral cancer” at the meet and was given an award for "Excellence in bio-research”.
