  • July 2018 to October 2022 - SVKM's Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) as Assistant Professor teaching for Masters in Psychology course.

  • Currently seeing clients for online/on-call/home-visits for psychotherapy and psychological testing.
  • July 2020 to Present – Consultant Psychologist at Vartalabh (Online Psychological Services Platform).
  • June 2017 to March 2018 –Psychologist at J.J. Hospital.
  • October 2017 to April 2018 – Psychologist at Purandare Clinic, Parel.

Research Experience:

  • Guided Ms. Vibha Sawant (student of M.A. Psychology Part 2) who won the first prize at the 16th Avishkar research convention (Dept of Student's Development, University of Mumbai) in the PG Humanities category in April 2021.
  • Co-presented a research paper titled "In Influencers We Trust: Investigating Enablers of Consumer Trust and Its Impact on Self-Concept and Purchase Intention" at the conference titled Multidisciplinary International Conference on Digitalisation & Human Element: A Futuristic Adaptation in Psychology, the 14th Bombay Psychological Association Annual Conference conducted in collaboration with Shri MD Shah Mahila College of Arts and Commerce held on 19th and 20th February 2022.
  • Chaired a session at the 31st Convention of the National Academy of Psychology 2021-2022 on "Psychology and Social Justice at the Time of COVID-19 Pandemic: The State, Community, and Individual Perspectives" organized by the Psychophysiology Laboratory, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay from 4-6th March 2022.
  • Co-presented a paper titled "Can A Helping Hand Hurt? A Study on The Effect Of Religious Orientation On Pathological Altruism And The Moderating Effect Of Guilt And Shame Proneness" at Monk Prayogshala's Seventh Seminar in the Social Sciences conducted on 4th and 5th December 2021.
  • Guided a student for intercollegiate research meet called Mandhodhan for a presentation titled "Machiavellianism, fluid intelligence and career success- dark employee rises?”
  • Guided a student for intercollegiate research meet called Manshodhan for a presentation titled "Material Measuring Materialism: Conceptualization, Operationalization, and Scale Development.”

  • Guided three students for intercollegiate research meet called Manshodhan for a presentation titled "Examining the Relationship between Consumer Locus of Control and Attitudes towards Cause-Related Marketing.”
  • Guided four students for intercollegiate research meet called Manshodhan for a presentation titled "Emotional Expressivity Scale for Academic Settings.”
  • Guided four students for intercollegiate research meet for a presentation titled "Examining the Relationship Between Hostile Attribution Bias, Negative Emotional Responding on Coping Strategies.”
  • Guided four students for a webinar conducted by Mithibai College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous) on two topics: "Implications Of COVID-19 Lockdown on Abusive Households: Horrifying Surge in Domestic Violence in India” and "The Influence of Media on The Psychological Health During Times Of COVID-19.”
  • Co-authored a paper called "Attempting to identify the Strengths and Skills of the Hijra Community - An exploratory study employing the lenses of Positive Psychology.” presented at the Bombay Psychological Association conference held in February 2019.
  • Presented a paper called "Effects of Stigma in Indian Culture on the Perception and Acceptance of the Mentally Ill: A Socio-Cognitive Analysis.” at The International Conference on Cognitive Behavioural Interventions - INDIA 2017.

  • Undertook case history, conducted psychological assessments (personality tests, IQ testing, LD screening tests, diagnostic assessments, etc.), and undertook counselling and therapy sessions in these hospitals. I have worked in both OPD and IPD setups of these hospitals.

Faculty Development Programs/Training:

  • Attended a three-day offline Faculty In-Service Program on Inclusive Education conducted by Maharashtra State Faculty Development Academy (MSFDA) in association with Xavier's Resource Centre for Visually Challenged (XRCVC) in Pune between 7th to 9th July 2022. Also, as part of this ongoing course, I attended an online session on "Understanding Autism Spectrum" on 28th July 2022. This is an ongoing program which will continue till February 2023.
  • Participated in a Two-Week Faculty Development Program on ‘Managing Online Classes and Co-Creating MOOCS 2.0’ organized by the Teaching Learning Centre and Research Development and Services Cell Ramanujan College, University of Delhi, from 18th May 2020 to 3rd June 2020.
  • Participated in a 6-day Online Faculty Development Program called "Reigniting the Research Spark” conducted by St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai under the aegis of RUSA, from 15th March 2021 to 21st March 2021.
