PLACEMENT CELL ACTIVITIES : NOVEMBER 2015

The Campus Placement process for MSc. Statistics final year was held by Willis International, in which two students were selected.
Campus Recruitment drive was held by HDFC Bank on 6th and 17th November 2015 for the position of Business Analyst for the students of MSc. Statistics final year. 1 student was selected for the same.
The first Placement meeting of the year for all the Departments was held on 5th November 2015. Updates was taken from each of the respective departments with regards to placement activity etc.
In this meeting a new structure of Student Placement Committee formed by Shailee Ray for the students was announced.
The new Placement Committee now consists of two Presidents, two Vice-Presidents and two Chief Placement Co-ordinators of the Statistics Dept.
The Student Placement Committee is responsible to ensure smooth functioning of the Placement and Summer Internship process.
The first Guest lecture organized by the Placement cell of SDSOS for the students of MPT was held on 19th November 2015 at SDSOS campus.
The Summer Internship process has been initiated with the first year students of Statistics, Biological Sciences and Chemistry
