School of Science Organizes 'Sankhiyiki' - 2014

We have immense pleasure in announcing that the School of Science is organizing a two-day workshop on 'Empower Future: Career Readiness' during 'Sankhyiki' on 28th and 29th November 2014.

'Sankhyiki' has been organized for last five years to promote Statistics at the undergraduate level. This year School of Science is organizing a National workshop on 'Empower Future: Career Readiness', for providing training to UG and PG Statistics students in soft skills such as group discussion, interview skills, and industry job oriented skills and preparing them for corporate life. Series of lectures is organized for application of Statistics in various fields like Quality Management and Catastrophe Modeling.

Objectives of Sankhiyiki

To motivate students to take up Statistics as a major subject at the graduate and post-graduate level.
To make students aware of the applicability of the subject in various fields.

Interactive sessions on varied areas of Statistics by experts from Academia and Industry
Interview and GD training sessions
