Dr. Darshna Potphode and her research team at the Department of Chemistry, Sunandan Divatia School of Science (SDSOS), SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be) University, Mumbai successfully organized a workshop on ‘ELECTROHANDS: Dive into Electrochemical Techniques’ on 4th and 5th July, 2025 from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM. This workshop provided an intensive and interactive platform for participants to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of and electrochemical energy systems, advanced energy storage, and electrocatalysis. The workshop covered core topics from fundamentals to in-depth exploration through a blend of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab sessions. It exposed participants to advanced materials and techniques used in modern electrochemical research. The workshop successfully fostered technical competence and encouraged innovation among students, researchers and faculty members interested in exploring in the domain of clean energy.

A total of 16 participants registered for the workshop. The participants included students, Ph.D. research scholars and faculty members from several colleges in and around Mumbai, including:
Participants showed enthusiastic involvement and active engagement throughout the workshop. They received a well-structured blend of conceptual knowledge and practical experience, which helped them build confidence in handling instruments and analyzing experimental data effectively.
