School of Science students attend conference/symposium/events
i) Ms. Nirmala Devi Thakur, 3rd year Ph.D. student, Biological Sciences, attended a ‘3-day workshop on NET & SET Examination’ organized by the Institute of Science, Churchgate, Mumbai from 1st – 3rd December 2011.
ii) Ms. Vinita D. Apraj, 3rd year Ph.D. student, Biological Sciences, presented a poster entitled “Phyto-Pharmacognostic and Antioxidant evaluation of Citrus Reticulate Blanco Peel” at a research meet organized by Jai Hind College, Churchgate, Mumbai on 10th December 2011.
iii) Ms. Nirmala Devi Thakur and Ms. Vinita D. Apraj, 3rd year Ph.D. students, Biological Sciences, participated in ‘Collage Making’ and ‘Best out of Waste’ events at ‘Vrukshavalli’, an event organized by Nisarg- Nature club of Mithibai College on 14th and 15th December 2011 as a part of celebration of ‘International Year of Forest 2011’. The participants were awarded the ‘First Prize’ in ‘Collage Making’.
