3-day National Seminar on “Recent advances in Analytical and Spectroscopic Techniques
Sunandan Divatia School of Science will organize a 3-day National Seminar on “Recent advances in Analytical and Spectroscopic Techniques” from October 15-17, 2015. The aim of the seminar is to disseminate knowledge about the recent advancements made in the area of Analytical and Spectroscopic techniques. The seminar will bring together experts from academia and commercial companies to discuss all aspects of analytical chemistry dealing with instrumentation, techniques, methodologies and applications. The multi-fold objective of the seminar will be to educate the students and researchers from all over the country about the recent trends in this specific field. Participants will be introduced to a wide range of analytical and spectroscopic methods, and their application in various upcoming fields. The seminar also aims to understand the broader aspects of the theoretical background of different types of spectroscopy and gives adequate information about the instrumental techniques. Topics that will be covered in the seminar are Spectroscopy, Electrochemistry, Biosensors, Chromatography, Phytochemistry and Nanoscience.
The seminar proposes to have about 15 invited lectures and 20 oral presentations and is expected to welcome over 100 delegates from all over the country.
