As a part of our M. Sc. Statistics program, the students are expected to do a Final Project (live) in their 5th and 6th Trimester in the Part II. Each Project Group is allotted an Internal Mentor (Faculty) and External Mentor (from the Project Monitoring Committee). The Project Monitoring Committee consist of experts from the industry in statistical applications. The PMC meeting is held twice an academic year to assess the students Project Proposals and subsequently to evaluate these projects. For this academic year the 2nd PMC meeting was held on 14th February 2015.
During final VIVA, the students are evaluated by eminent External Experts on the basis of the Project work, presentation and their Final Report. This year the VIVA was conducted on 28th March and 1st April 2015. We were privileged to have with us the following two External Experts:
