Faculties and students of School of Science visit RBI at BKC, Mumbai
The Department of Statistics, School of Science arranged for an Industrial Visit to ‘Reserve Bank of India’ at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. A total of 20 students of M.Sc Statistics Part I and Part II along with the faculty, Mrs. Leena Kulkarni and the Course Coordinator Ms. Neena Jamsandekar visited RBI on 5th December 2011 between 2:00 – 6:30 pm. Several officials briefed the students on how Statistical data is collected from various sources and how this data is analyzed to arrive at future projections.
